First Day for Fitness Center Members
July 2017Our 18,500 ft2 state-of-the-art Fitness Center with brand new cardio, strength, and conditioning equipment welcomed members in July 2017.
Fieldhouse Opened Its Doors
August 2017Four hard courts, a 1/7 mile track, a synthetic turf field with drop-down cages with netting, and five multi-purpose rooms opened for public use.
Cornerstone Kitchen, The Shop, & Child Care
October 2017Delicious meals, beverages, and treats with a focus on seasonal options to support your lifestyle and optimal nutrition standards were a welcome addition to our newly completed Cornerstone Kitchen in Fall 2017, alongside The Miller Center Shop and our drop-in child care benefit for Fitness Center members.

Miller Center Heroes
Over the years, I have learned that the benefits of exercise extend well past what is seen in the mirror or on the scale. Beside toning and strengthening the body, exercise helps to manage stress, improve sleep, and strengthen emotional wellbeing.

For over 25 years I have suffered from back pain caused by a degenerative disc disease. I decided to join the gym in order to lose weight and manage the pain. When I filled out my paper work I listed my goal as “just moving some!” Now I’m doing more physically than I’ve done in 25 years.
